  My husband and I checked into this haunted hotel on our way to Seattle... We spent less then an hour in our room due to footsteps above us when there is no 3rd floor and a male voice said hi in my ear!! I immediately jumped out of bed and we left! The guy at the front desk didn't seemed shocked when I said the hotel was haunted... I am very disappointed in our experience here and will not recommend this hotel. I was told I could not get a refund because we had stepped foot in the room.

  The hotel is unique in its appearance being historical landmark and gives an opportunity to be submerged in local history. The room was good for a hundred old hotel. The hotel restaurant has good hearty meals which are not expensive

  older, unique hotel (established in 1909). 2 floors of rooms. (no elevator, which is to be expected for the time the hotel was built). Friendly, helpful staff. Room was small but nice, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and very good. (Had one of the 3 egg omeletes which filled the plate and came with hand cut potato hash browns)

  The hotel is cute and cozy. The claw foot soaker tub in the room was a blessing and a highlight. The reception went out of their way. Although the rooms are basic, the charm and class of the hotel make up for it two fold.

  The food in the Royal restaurant was well priced, and amazingly delicious. If you want som great tasting home-type cooking (especially the roadt beef!) then this is a great place in a historic setting. The rooms are cute and qaint as well, with a lot of period furnishings. A romantic setting, to be sure
